Toenails on men are less visible today, but this is changing. Men are discovering that nice looking sandals not only show off their feet, but are much cooler. As toenails become more visible they need to be cared for as well.

Caring for nails requires cutting and shaping them. Nails that are shaped will become stronger and look better. Using a file will remove any sharp edges on nails and make the overall thickness of the nails even.

Nails can be shaped in a couple of ways. Rounding the tips helps to make the nails strong and they look uniform. Squaring the tips does the same, but the nails may break on the sides.

Applying nail polish to well shaped nails provides additional strength and enhance their appearance. Any nail polish will add a thickness to fingernails that reduces breakage. Whether nails are polished with clear or bright red they always look better with polish.

Many men are interested in making their nails look great, but they have not been out in public with their nails polished. There is no need to be afraid of the public. Men have every right to look great in public and more men are wearing polish every day.
