Jewelry has been reserved primarily for women during the 1900s, but this has not always been true. Men have worn jewelry throughout history, but have limited jewelry wearing to one or two rings and a watch during the last one hundred years.
Some men wear bracelets, but most do not. In fact during the late 1900s men wearing bracelets were assumed to be gay. While gay men have been more free about wearing jewelry, this does not mean that other men cannot or should not wear jewelry.

Men are beginning to embrace jewelry today. More men are wearing necklaces, bracelets, ankle bracelets, rings, toe rings and earrings. Men have started wearing earrings in both ears. Many men are enjoying the look of ankle bracelets as well.
Wear jewelry as you like. Jewelry is personal and you should select the jewelry that you like and enjoy wearing it. Do not feel that you must obey anyone else's jewelry standards.
