Tights or pantyhose are far more comfortable than trousers.
I have worn some form of these under my skirts everyday it has been cold this Fall. I have mentioned various times that I wear them with shorts & under trousers if really cold as well but having now experienced them under UG for extended periods of time I can attest that they are not anything like wearing trousers aside from being warmer when outside than bare legged. They aren't as warm as trousers anyplace but while inside I am more comfortable with them than I could possibly be with trousers so that is a good thing to me.
