Cross-dressing 03-08-2004 12:16 PM
Crossdressing implies that one is attempting to be something that one really isn't. Why would anyone even think about doing that?
Virtually no woman has ever crossdressed. It is a negative for fashion equality. Fashion equality is simply the ability to wear your garment of choice without even approaching the gender issue. That is most definitely not crossdressing. The general public no doubt views a crossdresser as some sort of a pervert.
A man who wears a skirt is simply a man who has decided that he would wear a skirt. Again, that is NOT crossdressing since a garment doesn't have a sex, since it is just a piece of cloth or leather. A man who wants to pass as a woman shouldn't even be thinking about wearing a skirt anyhow since it is quite clear that the garment of choice for women in the 21st century is the trouser, not the skirt. Which is it, the desire to gain fashion freedom or the desire to appear as a misguided pervert who quickly becomes an object of scorn?
