Love & Skirt in the afternoon 04-15-2003 07:37 PM
I went to my local mall this afternoon, stopping at a couple of places I used to work, including the GAP. I talked to a manager lady there I used to work for and she was so happy to see me...so happy in fact that, while we were talking, she suddenly gave me a great big bear hug! I reciprocated, and when we were done, she said with a great big smile "boy, that felt good!" I replied, "It sure did!"
Then I went to the Limited Too to see another former lady manager friend, she was thrilled to see me, too. No one even mentioned my green plaid miniskirt, but she used to tease me about wearing skirts when we worked together at the GAP. I didn't wear them back then, but sometimes a skirt-related situation would come up and she would say to me things like, "Maybe you should get one of these!" and I would think "Oh, if only you knew!" I even used to secretly look at the skirts when no one else was looking.
Went other places, too. A great day, the only events were good events.
