Today, as I have done a number of times, I went to Home Depot to purchase items for my home. I went to the home improvement store with my purse hanging from my shoulder, my seventeen inch skirt and ankle bracelets on both ankles.
The response that I received from both the Home Depot employees and other customers was nothing. No one stared at me or even looked at me with an unusual look. It was an everyday activity. A man shopping in the Home Depot as any other man would.
