Couple of recent outings

I spent last weekend (Easter) sailing. My wife was busy with church and I had just wrapped up a real widow-maker of a project at work, so at my bride's suggestion I took Friday off and spent three days on the boat. And the part you guys care about is that for three days I didn't have to wear trousers once!
There is a cliche in the sailing community: "Sail Naked" but I am not an exhibitionist. But a short skirt or kilt gives as much freedom without as much, errr, "exposure."
Second event is a sighting: Saturday there was a chap visiting our marina wandering around and talking to friends - dressed in a UK [Utilikilt]! We made him feel welcome and used his presence to open conversation with a few neighbors about MUGs in general. So that leads to the third event:
Which is yesterday. I was again on the boat, this time overhauling the sewage system, and wearing my khaki kilt length garment. After finishing the project I wandered over to chat with Fred. We never explicitly discussed the skirt (I touched upon it in conversation just to make the point that I knew it was there) but Fred seemed completely unfussed by it. Of course, live-aboard yachties are pretty tolerant - We didn't choose the live-aboard lifestyle because of our need to be like everybody else!
Anyway - just a minor point of one sighting and two outings and all quite truly non-events.
