My toenails are usually painted because my wife figures that they're always hidden inside socks and shoes - but during the warm weather I tend to wear sandals while I'm at work, and my toes are out there for everyone to see. Last summer I had a real nice blue polish put on, and it took my co-workers almost 3 weeks to notice!
One lady, while we were walking down a hallway happened to glance down - she stopped and exclaimed "You've got polish on your toes!"
I looked down and replied "Ohmigod! How did that happen!" - then I asked her how they looked, and she said it was great - she wished her husband would do the same! She then told everyone in her department, and I was quickly a celebrity!
Later, a guy in my department noticed and his only reaction was "I thought only women painted their toenails" - I simply told him that anybody could do it if they wanted, and that satisfied him.
