Noreen and I went to Home Depot to get some plants and stones for a walk I’m building. The register is outside. While Noreen was paying for the stuff, I took the cart to the car and started loading the bricks into the trailer. The wind was at my back and it kept blowing my mini-Utilikilt up like a parachute. After getting tired of holding it down with one hand and trying to load the bricks with the other, I finally turned around and faced the wind. That seemed to do the trick. While we were driving away, Noreen said, “that was quite a show you put on”. It seems the girls at the register noticed the wind too and they were all giggling with Noreen over the sight of my kilt blowing up more than I knew thus giving all a good look at my tiny florescent flowered bikini swimming suit. Oh well, it’s good to know I was the bright spot in someone’s day.
See, skirting does make the world a brighter place.
